The Soviet Story – Hvem lanserte den politiske idéen om rasistisk folkemord først?

Er det ikke opplagt at nasjonalsosialismen er den aller verste av alle totalitære ideologier?

Hvis målestokken er regimers morderiskhet er det ikke så lett å svare ja på det. For mens kommunistiske regimer i det forrige århundre myrdet 148 millioner mennesker, så myrdet Hitler-Tyskland 21 millioner mennesker. Det ifølge Rudolph J. Rummel, en av verdens fremste ekspertene på emnet, som etter å ha vært med på Korea-krigens horrible blodbad, viet sitt liv til historisk forskning på og dokumentasjon av regimers morderiskhet, det Rummel kaller «democide» («Democide: The murder of any person or people by a government, including genocide, politicide, and mass murder.»).

Men rent ideologisk er det grunn til å vurdere kommunismen som bedre enn nazismen. For som den norske historikeren Øystein Sørensen uttrykker det i sin nye bok «Drømmen om det fullkomne samfunn. Fire totalitære ideologier – én totalitær mentalitet«:


«Det nasjonalsosialistiske idealsamfunn er forbehold noen utvalgte mennesker… definert etter … en blanding av rase- og nasjonskriterier. Idealsamfunnet er basert på regulært slavehold… [der] jødene – alle jøder – var likvidert… De nasjonalsosialistiske og fascistiske idealsamfunn er med andre ord partikulæristiske idealsamfunn. Noen er utvalgte og får være med. Andre står utenfor, blir systematisk undertrykt eller simpelthen drept…

Det kommunistiske idealsamfunnet, derimot, er for alle mennesker i hele verden. Det er i utgangspunktet et universelt idealsamfunn.»

Øystein Sørensen har nok rett i at dette er en vesentlig forskjell, i alle fall når kommunismen er realisert, og det nye sosialistiske mennesket er skapt. Ideologisk er kommunismen i utgangspunktet en humanistisk ideologi, som omfatter alle, en ideologi der «alle skal med», for å sitere et aktuelt slagord fra Arbeiderpartiet.

Men også ideologisk er det noe som skurrer, for som det blir påpekt i The Soviet Story:

«Jeg tror ikke mange mennesker vet at bare sosialismen offentlig gjorde seg til talsmann for folkemord i det 19. århundret. Det er et veldig lite kjent faktum. Og det synes sjokkerende»–George Watson, litteraturhistoriker, Cambridge»

Ja, hvor ble det av oppgjøret med sosialismens grumsete fortid?

Mye av den opphetede politisk korrekte debatten av i dag, med rassing, nazzing og brunskvetting ove ren lav sko, er et uttrykk for traumer og gnagende sår, der en venstreside med grumsete fortid kan slå seg på brystet med sin «humanisme», sitt gode «menneskesyn», og sin elitisme, hamrer løs på «brungrums langt der nede i folkedypet», «fordommer» og «…hat», «…fobi» og «…fiendlighet» osv. – hos De Andre.

Vi har et offentlig liv som i stor grad består av at de rene og ranke som forfengelig og projiserende stå opp mot «oss og dem-retorikk», «generalisering», «ekskludering», «diskriminering», «fremmedfrykt», «homofobi», «rasisme», «islamofobi», «fremmedfiendtlighet», «høyrepopulisme» og «ord som forgifter» osv., mens andre har blitt redde for å få merkelappene klistret på seg og få skitnet til sitt navn og rykte. Det skal stort vågemot å stå opp mot alle denne narsissismen.

For renheten har som alltid sin pris i en urettferdighet som rammer andre. De renes selvdyrkelse er et nullsumspill og en parasittisme der man hever seg selv opp ved å tråkke andre ned. Og med en venstrefløy med gnagende sår og traumer fra en grumsete fortid, er behovet for å «få noe på» De Andre umettelig.

Mot alt dette, så trenger vi mye motgift av den type vi får i Edvins Snore dokumentar «The Soviet Story». Den viser oss et lite glimt inn i historien om den humanistisk sosialismes medaljes bakside. Og Snores film viser oss ikke bare sosialistiske folkemorder-regimer, men at disse regimene hadde sine ideologiske forbilder i den klassiske marxismen, den politisk-filosofiske retning som først tok til orde for rasistiske folkemord!

Også nasjonalsosialismen kunne i Marx og Engels sosialisme, finne punkter som kunne tas til inntekt for den nazistiske folkemorderideologien:

«The classes and the races too weak to master the new conditions of life, must give way [...] They must perish in the revolutionary holocaust» – Karl Marx

«This remnant of a nation that was, as Hegel says, suppressed and held in bondage in the course of history, this human trash, becomes every time , and remains so until their complete obliteration or loss of national identity — the fanatical carriers of counter-revolution, just as their whole existence in general is itself a protest against a great historical revolution.»–Friedrich Engels

Men ikke bare kunne nazistene i Karl Marx tekster finne støtte for at «klasser og raser som var for svake til å mestre de nye livbetingelsene, måtte vike… [at] de må forgå i det revolusjonære holocaust». De kunne også, hos Friedrich Engels, finne støtte for idéen om Det Tredje Riket:

Hos Engel kunne nazistene finne støtte for sin idé om terror og undertrykkelse av slaviske folkeslag, og for at man i så måte ikke måtte ta hensyn til moral- og rettferdighets-betraktninger:

«(…)Justice and other moral considerations may be damaged here and there; but what does that matter to such facts of world-historic significance? (…)

Following that, Bohemia and Moravia passed definitely to Germany and the Slovak regions remained with Hungary. And this historically absolutely non-existent «nation» puts forward claims to independence? (…)

Of course, matters of this kind cannot be accomplished without many a tender national blossom being forcibly broken. But in history nothing is achieved without power and implacable ruthlessness, (…)

To the sentimental phrases about brotherhood which we are being offered here on behalf of the most counter-revolutionary nations of Europe, we reply that hatred of Russians was and still is the primary revolutionary passion among Germans; that since the revolution hatred of Czechs and Croats has been added, and that only by the most determined use of terror against these Slav peoples can we, jointly with the Poles and Magyars, safeguard the revolution. Hos Engelsk kunne nazister hente støtte for det syn at særlig jugoslavene burde utryddes:

Hence they are now revolutionary. All the other large and small nationalities and peoples are destined to perish before long in the revolutionary world storm. (…)

Om Marx andre datter som giftet seg med Paul Lafargue som stilte til et valg ble omtalt som med «one eighth or one twelfth Nigger blood» og «Paul, the candidate of the Jardin des Plantes – and the animals… Being in his quality as a nigger a degree nearer to the rest of the animal kingdom than the rest of us, he is undoubtedly the most appropriate representative of that district.»– Kilde: Marx & Engels Werke vol. 36, 1967, p. 645

Og som først nevnt, likte Engels idéen om det tredje riket. Og i den klassiske marxismen som Engels representerte kunne nazistene også finne støtte for sin germanske nasjonalisme:

Og ja, også Karl Marx var en rasist, en genocidal rasist. Ikke bare var han rasist, men han fremmet folkemord:

At raser måtte forgå på ideen om det nye sosialistiske menneskets alter.

Ja, selv når det gjaldt ideen om skandinavers og germaneres overlegenhet kunne nazistene støtte seg på Marx:

Selv om nederlandske frisere en «moralsk overlegen rase sammenlignet med danskene», ifølge Engels:

«…the Dutch Frisians… are great fanatics and, for that reason, really took my fancy. You must have read something by that extraordinary ‘Dr K. J. Clement of North Friesland’. The man is typical of the whole race. These fellows are in deadly earnest about their struggle against the Danes, which is their whole purpose in life, and the Schleswig-Holstein theory is not an end but a means for them. Og for jødehat…

Det var rasistene Karl Marx og Friedrich Engels, de to ideologiske lederne for den klassiske marxismen, som fremmet ideen om folkemord på rasistisk grunnlag, rasistisk folkemord, den genocidale rasismens idé.
